Okay, I'm much better at Russian but I'll try this:

Veselý Vánoce! JÁ naděje Santa nést tebe celek člen určitý majetek tebe potřeba.

Merry Christmas! I hope Santa brings you everything you want.

Btw, what's this about videocamaras?

Hey, guys, check this out! I googled and apparently folks in the Czech Republic like to fry up a big ol' carp for Christmas Eve supper. So, looks like David's getting ready to celebrate the holidays the traditional way! I wonder if it will live in his bathtub until time to cook it, like the article said? XD That would be funny!

Ok, the photo of the fish makes a LOT more sense now. :D :D :D You learn something every day...

You do know the Chinese say those things turn into dragons eventually, don't you? David! You're eating POTENTIAL DRAGONS!

Have a happy holiday of your choice, my dear. And enjoy the fish.

Vesele Vanoce a do noveho roku hodne zdravi, stesti, lasky a uspechu jak v osobnim, tak v pracovnim zivote; jak pro vas, tak pro vase blizke. :)

Fried carp is traditional food for Christmas Eve supper, among with potatoe salad. Many people like fish soup, too.

It´s nice to know that David doesn´t forget our traditions :-)

That's a beautiful fish. The fan-like golden scales make it look very Asian to me.

Happiest of holidays to you and yours, David. Peace to you in the New Year.

A little late for me to say Merry Christmas, but Happy New Year!

Ah, the Christmas Carp! That thing's freekin' huge. In Polish tradition as well, we have a meatless Christmas Eve, often involving carp. Me, I'm not a bit lover of the carp. But the potato salad? Lovely!

In closing, in the languages of my ancestors:

Joyeux Noël
Wesołych Świąt
Happy Christmas

Veselé Vánoce, Davide.

Štěstí, zdraví, pokoj svatý.
