Summertime

Where is he? Where is he?...
.
Folks, I'm fine. Thank you for the concern. No really. I'm fine.
.
It's summertime on the westcoast and I've got a three-episode gap and bright blue skies outside. I'm far away - somewhere where even dial-up can barely reach. I'm up the coast.

Sorry about the brevity, but I'll be back when the rains come. Oh yes I will.

Yay for catching a break! :D

"Boo!" that we don't get to see Dr. Z as often as we'd like.

Yay for swimming!David?

Looks like you're having a great break. Thanks for taking the time to send us a little update. :)

I don't think I've seen blue skies for a fortnight, at least. Oh, how I wish it was summertime, and how I miss living on the coast. Thank you, you've made me insanely jealous, and nostalgic to boot. :)

And yes, we were worried! But do enjoy the break. It looks utterly gorgeous there.

Jealousy knows no bounds. I am in Phoenix, and my one vacation this year was to LA to be someones bitc-- I mean... Maid of Honor. Sad, sad Liz panda.

As much as I'd like to congratulate you on having a good vacation time, it also means we get to see a lot less of Dr Z!

However I've just watched the ep of Eureka which you were in! Such a nice surprise and so weird to hear an American voice come out of a blind man's mouth!

Anyway enjoy the water!

Soak up some sun for those of us stuck in chillier climates - namely Oz at the moment. And enjoy your holiday 'cause we expect great things from you in Atlantis. *grins*

Lapis said...

Oh, I am envious. My vacation is more than a month away, and I hope that sometime during that vacation I will be able to duplicate your feat.

Glad to see you're having fun!

Feel free to send some of that rain you aren't having yet over to Connecticut, as long as it brings cooler temps with it. 8)

It looks like someone pushed you off the pier at the bottom of the south tower on Atlantis! Is that McKay's jacket at the side of the picture???

Glad you've got a good break, and it looks like you're having fun. Thanks for letting us know.

Definitely have to catch the sun while it's out if you're on the PNW coast! Enjoy the rest of the summertime!

Good to see you again Dylan...no...Dermot? Danny? David!!!! That's it!! :P

Hey David, thanks for taking the time to share with us! You really are great with your fans!

Seeing the mountains and scenery in the distance makes me really miss the west coast alot! *Sigh*

Have fun on your break!!!

The water looks like so much fun! I'm jealous, as usual. Swimming over here in Lake Erie is nearly suidice.

Sasha said...

Oh, now you're making me jealous. A pool is much different from the coast, since by me all of the lake water is too cold to swin in (in my opinion)
I'm not sure if you having a vacation is good or not. I'm glad you get to relax, but less Dr. Z is a little on the depressing side.
Have a good time,

David,

Enjoy your vacation.

Waiting patiently for the season four premiere of SGA -- need our weekly fix of Dr. Z!

Also saw you in Eureka - the second season is proving to be very interesting.

Best wishes.

Hmm, dial-up can barely reach.... I was gonna say Mexico till you said 'up the coast.' ;)

Darn on that three episode break which means you're not in some episodes!

Enjoy your break.

Ah, waterskiing? That and parasailing are huge here on Florida's gulf coast. Wonder why yall actors don't escape the west coast and come visit here? LOL!

Enjoy your vacation!

Glad you're having a good time. The water looks great! (Been really hot and muggy here)

Thanks for keeping in touch. Enjoy your free time.

Looks like you're having a fun time with yourself! Glad to hear from you, even if it is brief.

ok, so we'll be waiting. No more several month gaps, right? Enjoy your time off! Dr. Z needs to be in each and EVERY episode.

It's good to know that you're still alive and well, David!

That's it! That looks like so much fun. I am sooo swimming tomorrow. Wish I had an ocean though. Soak it all up. Spend all day doing nothing but what you want. That's what I'd do. Thanks for the communiqué. Wish I were there!

I just watched the video you have with Elizabeth Weir...and all the guys(all so handsome). I am going to miss her character....I guess she will still be on, but not as much.

I don't know why the powers that be over there don't use more of the great characters they have on the show. Star TRek TNG had tons of people they used on every episode and it was great.

Oh well, I just need to win a big lottery and start my own production company...lol...dream on, eh?

My birthday is tomorrow...wish me a happy one? I won't tell you how many years...hmmm I think I will just stay 29 forever(haha!)Actually it would be nice to relive my 20's again!

I saw you on Eureka..loved it and you. I just started watching that show and am really enjoying it. It's very Northern Exposure meets Sci-fi geeks! But, they sure do like to "borrow" ideas from other places. The personal shield and killing the guy (to get it to shut off) and then using a defibrillator to bring him back to life was SO Atlantis! And they borrowed you(which is great cuz we love to see you). The weather machine looks a lot like the ones in the game SIMS 2....hmmm what's next? I guess I will have to tune in and see!

David, I hope you get a chance to swee this post. A friend of mine found this screen shot online of you and David H.

Hope you find this as amuzing as we did

Gah, I haven't gone swimming in two years. Alright, that's it. I am going swimming tomorrow morning. It's just going to happen, you'll see! You all just try and stop me! *shakes fists to heavens and cackles manically* >D.
Hey, you should do one of those youtube contests like the other David did. I don't know what the challenge would be, but it would most certainly be fantastic ;D.

Rosehawk said...

LOL - Yeah it does seem that we lost him!

I sure hope the rescue stories are good!

Anonymous said...

Helloooo! Gee, all I hear is an echo!
Hmmm...Where oh where has our David gone???? Where oh where can he be???

Anonymous said...

Maybe he actually found the Lost City under all that water...

Anonymous said...

Darn it! We've lost him again?

Didn't we just finish finding the last of the previous search party?

Sasha said...

I see a reccuring pattern going on here. I think that someone needs to go 'Z fishing' (as my friend decided to name it). It's like a giant yo-yo. Gone and back, gone and back,
-Kanku

Mel said...

Actually, Katrina, I think we're still missing that one kid... no one's been able to find him!!! Maybe it'd be best if we *didn't* send another search party???

Anonymous said...

Hm, that's a good point Mel. Maybe we should start putting little tracking devices on the search parties.

Actually - can we just put one on Dr. Z? I know how to work a GPS.

Mel said...

You know, Katrina, I think that might work! Only.... we'd have to actually find the good Dr. Z before we could put a tracking device on him.

In the meantime, perhaps we should send a search team after the still-missing-members of the previous search team???

allison said...

What shall Dr. Z's little pirahnas do now?! We are lost, adrift at sea without the guidance of his superior intellect. I mean, now we're just stuck with Mer's whining. noooooo! ;D
I think he should get a twitter for easier updating possibility. And a GPS chip implant. Mandatory GPS chip. It would be sad if poor Dr. Z didn't resurface before the 18th or the 28th *sniffles*

ptarmigan said...

Handheld GPS receivers might help search parties' rescuers here on Earth, but they won't do much good for people hunting for the search parties sent out to the Pegasus galaxy. I think we may need Col. Sheppard's special-ops people to handle that end of the rescue. Does anyone know how to reach them? :-)

Rosehawk said...

Before we send out the search teams we should see if the rains have come to Vancouver yet.

David said he would be back when the rains come.

Maybe he needs the rains to wash him back to shore! *smile*
