It doesn't always smell nice...

It all depends on where your oxygen intake is situated...
.
It has been extremely busy out here - I can't even begin to explain where we are right now - suffice to say: it doesn't look good.
.
I managed to record a six second databurst this morning. It's on my website, in a secret location....
.
Help us!!!

YES! I found the secret message! So, you guys ran out of donuts ... Man, budget cuts are tough, eh ;) But you gotta specify what kind you want... after all, glazed, jelly, sprinkled, not sprinkled, Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts, oh the list is endless! :)

Tim Hortons or Dunkin? And whatever happened to those "fish"? Or was that just a red herring?

Rachael/Thaddia said...

Okay I'll send some donuts...what is the postage cost to send something to the pegasus galexy? ; )

OMG. I found the secret message. I am eating ice cream. I just managed to SNORT ice cream. It was unpleasant. However, well worth the amusement!

Spubba said...

Heck yes. Forget the fuel and ammo, when it comes to a real crisis, SEND DONUTS!

Mmm... donut. Thanks David, very cute!

Lapis said...

If you're out of donuts this early in the season, you guys really need a new craft services department.

Really. Gotta get those priorities straight. Does the Tim's in your neighborhood deliver?

Oh my...
Did you not ever learn to be careful of what you wish for? Especially around Scifi fans? Did the postcards teach you nothing?

*ducking the donut deluge*

By the way, Christie's Donuts in Lake Orion Michigan have the best damn donuts in the world. Their peanut butter cup donuts are to die for.

Are donuts the secret to powering Atlantis, or just to powering actors? You sounded so desperate. ;p And you do realize that at every convention you attend you are now going to be inundated with donuts. :)

Andrea said...

OMG I just spit hot tea all over myself and the desk.

You should be careful around SciFi fans....you're going to get more doughnuts that you ever dreamed of!

*Ponders about making the drive to Tallahassee for Dunkin Doughnuts."

Rosehawk said...

LOL. Thanks for the good laugh!

dead-blog said...

aw, man, out of donuts already? no forgotten honey crullers hidden, tucked away in the corner of someone's desk, getting stale? damn.

i agree with those above - be careful what you wish for in the SciFi fandom! {or, okay. most fandoms}

now, back to my chemistry assignment!

Um, sorry, all I have are two bags of Reese's Pieces and a half-eaten blueberry-and-apple muffin, which I've pretty much picked to death already. They're not donuts, but I did have to drive to Wellington for the Reese's, they cut me off here!

So, I really can empathise. Up to and including the biohazard suit, ugh. :)

Cygnet said...

Dude, I've got a Krispy Kreme just down the road from me. Send me a data burst with what you want and i will arrange transport on the next ship out!

Unknown said...

It's only Tuesday, how could all the doughnuts be gone already?

salivia_baker said...

Isn't the question actually: when DOES it look good?

And maybe Zelenka should finally find the (food!) replicator and program it with Donuts becuase I fear if the Deadalus have to bring them they never arrive...

Chrystalline said...

ACK! I can't get the page to load - is your Photobucket out of bandwidth already?

:: pouts ::

Maybe you can upload to YouTube or MySpace, too? :: puppy dog eyes ::

(and of course doughnuts can be sent through the mail...it's getting 'em to go through email that's the REAL trick;)

dutch_eowyn said...

Oh dear... Expect sticky parcels in your mailbox! ;p

Anonymous said...

Poor guys ! I'm sure someone with a big big... appetite stole all your donuts, right ?

And for the picture... oh, I don't like those uniforms ! Something tragic is gonna happen !

Good luck. *wink*

Rose said...

Ok, I just giggled for a solid two minutes. My housemates think I'm on crack.

Curse University computers and their lack of sound!

Will watch the databurst when I get home :D

Francy said...

HEHEHE!! Ok, I have to admit it took me some time to find it! *LOL*
You're worried about where the air comes from? You're lucky you're not Chris Judge!

Meghan O'Connor said...

Oh no! Zelenka + biohazard suit = instant worry...

And any good Canadian knows we have to get him a couple dozen Tim-bits, assorted flavor, right? There is that Timmy's down the street from the studio... Come to LoneGunCon and we'll inundate you with Tim-Bits....

Chez said...

OMG they got you in a mckay suit!!! okay i know it's really a radation suit but it's just now a mckay suit because of the episode Runner!

Hope you didn't suffer too much it in!

Good luck surviving the haordes of product after your plea of desparation.. it'll be a totally differnt please of "Stop sending them" within the week!

Audrey said...

Stuck out in Pegasus without Timmy Horton's? I'd be desperate too! :)

*Audrey sits back and waits to hear of deluges of donuts*

Anonymous said...

LOL, when someone tells me how I can send doughnuts to the Pegasus galaxy, I promise I will send as many as possible!!

Halessa said...

Found the - not so secret - message on your page... I think it is all David Hewlett's fault! I am sure he has eaten all the doughnuts!
For me, I prefer crullers instead of doughnuts - they have jam instead of a hole in the middle. And my mom made "Powidldatscherl" last weekend - yummy! And I have to say, you look great in the biosuit!

Misty aka s_aurius said...

LOL, oops, probably not the best descion for me to watch the secret message while I'm at work. I ended up having to show my boss what I was laughing about! :p

heh, I agree with everyone else; you are going to be receiving so many donuts you won't know what to do with them. :D

Anonymous said...

I thought about the logistics of sending TimBits to you, but since they don't sell them in our area, it would be too costly to drive hours to Toronto to get them and then FedEx them, so I hope you've got a Coffee Time nearby ;) Besides, if the white powder off a donut leaked into the mail, well, talk about an international crisis brewing ;)

Anyway, in lieu of donuts... try this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zPcYb4C3Xo

Nope, don't work for 'em, another fan sent me the link, but it's a hysterical 'rap' song by an honest to gosh band begging to work on SGA. I think you'll find it a hoot! Especially the part song in Asgard...

CWise said...

Come on, all these comments about Tim Hortons or Dunkin? What happened to LaMar's Donuts?

Plus, John's Space Age Donuts are the BEST IN THE WORLD, but it's hard to find them because they're a totally local thing in Kansas City. I miss JSAD.

Hope you end up smelling fresh air more often, it's always good. Air intake right beside gas output, not a good thing.

Oh, and the secret? Laughed so hard I almost peed. Really.

Anonymous said...

LOL!!!! I had to wait until I got home to check out your secret message. They won't let me have speakers on my office computer.

If they could ship a Tim Horton's store to Kandahar, Afganistan I am sure the Canadian Goverment could help you guys out on Atlantis. : )

Pega said...

Sooper Seekrit Messages are always fun. And you know this crowd is always in the mood for any kind of 'treasure hunt' you feel like staging.

Donuts huh? I have a monster with a wonderful recipe, maybe if I raise her allowance she'll make a batch. Not sure how well they'll travel to Pegasus though. Even Vancouver is iffy on that score. ;)

Tori said...

Okay, now to figure out if USP does intergalactic mailings or not;) I assume you want Tim Hortons since Dunkin is, how shall we say it... not very good:D

More messages please:)

I just discovered this blog, very amusing! Thanks for posting stuff for us fans!

Eve said...

How fun is that? *giggles* The answer to any crisis...Donuts.

BTW - I laughed out loud in my cubical at work over this. Loud enough that it made my coworker stand up and peer over the divider at me! *headdesk*

Space Oddity said...

Oh my. That is severely traumatizing at 1 in the morning! I can't decide if it's the mention of donuts or the crazed look on your face.

irishfaery said...

I don't think donuts travel well... but next time i'm stopping by the Pegasus Galaxy I'll bring my cook book and make you as many as you like. lol.

Teknikal said...

ummmmmmmmmm doughnuts *homer simpson drool*
the key to defending Atlantis..those are ancient drones being controlled form the chair..they're doughnuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BethyNYC said...

I could always hijack a Krispy Kreme truck for you! Of course, I would need to find someone to drive...

Anonymous said...

Hrmmm...send someone from craft services down to Gai's Bakery in Seattle. They have sourdough apple fritters that are to die for! I almost wish I hadn't moved out to the coast because of those. ;-)

Hahahaha!!!! Oh my, they put you in a suit??? Hee, I'm really amused :)

Aww... I hope you didn't suffer too much!

BTW, since you're always posting lovely pics, I'm going to show you my travel pics, if you don't mind (you've probably been to all these places anywhere). Next time in Europe, I think I have to go to Eastern Europe - there's beer to be drunk!

Oh, my. What is the postal department going to say when they start getting all those donuts? Or everyone at Bridge Studios? But, come to think of it, the studio people will love it if you share. In fact they may tell you to send more databursts....

Mel said...

OMG-you are so funny! I watched the clip and couldn't stop giggling for the next . . . well, very many minutes! I'll be sure to take up a collection for you guys!

Also, that suit gives me this horrible foreboding feeling . . . Please say nothing terrible happens!

TheDancingArchaeologist said...

I had my first Krispy Kreme yesterday - I feel your pain.

Tauri Sith said...

I found the message. Sounds urgent!

Anonymous said...

Question: What are you favorite ones? I sure hope that Timmies delivers. Hmmm jungles and now the hazmat suit...will you have time for the doughnuts and coffee?

Skvělý, ale místo koblih bych si raději nechal poslat nějaký kvalitní český pivo, třeba plzen nebo budvar!! Preji mnoho stesti a snad vas nenechají vyhladovet!

You can always bake "pannekoeken" ;-)

Hey, nice spacesuit - saw the pics on JM's blog at http://josephmallozzi.blogspot.com/2007/03/march-19-2007.html of you in the white suit, although you should take him aside and correct how he spells your name ;)

allison said...

oh...my...
I think I woke up half the household when I burst into laugher ^^;
*runs to Krispy Kremes while ringing up an Asgard battleship for massive delivery*
"Don't worry! They're coming!"
-ha ha-

Pega said...

Oooooh...Zelenka goes EVA in S4? At least, that looks like an EVA suit you're wearing in J.Mallozzi's blog. That should be a fun ep, can't wait to see it.

Anonymous said...

Regarding the EVA suit shown on JM's blog, when the lights are on inside the helment, is it possible to see? It's pretty but seems impractical ...

Anonymous said...

The first thing I thought when I looked at the pictures on JM's blog was, "-snort- It's a futuristic Care Bear!" ^_^;

crazymom said...

So far they've had you in a hazmat suit and a spacesuit...do they have their Davids confused? Or is the other David wearing something even worse?

Tazmy said...

Lovely secret message. We can give you donuts, but um, you can't give Rodney any. ;)

allison said...

Ha ha. By the way, there seems to be a group of fans holed up in the hotel near the studio who claim to have that rescue package of donuts all ready for you. They would deliver it, but are afeared that Joe's attack hound would eat them all. Either them or Squirrel-Man.

Did you get to check out the Save Carson Beckett rally, or were you stuffed back into that Techno Care Bear suit and shoved into a broom closet for fear of letting all the fans through in a fit of donut-starved rage? ;D
*sigh* Why couldn't Texas have been on the border of Canada instead of Mexico? If only the Asgard were in transmittion range...

netty said...

Haha...donuts!
What sort of donuts are you talking about here? lol
I mean theres a whole book of donuts out there!
lol

What have you guys been doing, eating all your donuts already!?

Anonymous said...

Btw, for some reason, I can't seem to find the link for the website again...maybe my computer hates me *sigh*. I wanna' watch the video again. It's interesting because usually that sort of thing wouldn't be funny, so why do I crack up almost close to tears laughing every time I watch it? You must have put some hidden message that flashes 'BRING DONUTS! LAUGH NOW!' rapidly ;D.
