Flying the friendly skies

Big plane month. Lots of planes. Real ones and not so real ones.
.
Worked last week on a new show debuting on Fox in January called "Human Target". Was good fun. Don't let the oxygen masks fool you, you don't stand a chance aboard Pacific National Airways. (Why do they always put me in glasses?...) After a day of sitting on the plane I drove to the airport and went to sit on a plane. Just to change it up a bit. Flew to Philly, and the whole way the oxygen masks didn't deploy and the plane didn't roll over, so I don't know what was wrong with this flight.
.
I found lots of angry robots in Philadelphia shooting their TV sets. Kinda weird. I guess it's a product of the poor economy. It's tough out there for a Boba Fett.
.
Beautiful fall colours in a very temperate King of Prussia, PA (not actually Philadelphia). I saw the mammoth mall, didn't venture in, and looked up the origin of the name: King of Prussia. Turned out to be a pub. A town named after a pub, named after a monarch of a former eastern European country. My kinda place.

FYI, as your Q&A at GameX broke up I heard the woman behaind me say to her friend, "He's a class act." I concur. It was fun to learn that 'Zelenka' means 'green' in Czech, and I admired what you said about how when you worked on SG:A you reminded yourself everyday how lucky you were. I'm glad I got to meet you, and thanks for signing my kitten picture!

It was good to get a chance to hear you speak at GameX! Unfortunately, I'm apparently a moron and it took me until the end of the evening to find the signing booths, so I didn't get to say hi (because, seriously, it's not like the place was huge).

Hope you didn't get soaked in that mini-hurricane!

Well, I'm glad the oxygen masks didn't deploy on your flight. Thanks for the update, and I'm sorry I couldn't make it to King of Prussia to see you. My Mother-in-law was in town. Oh well. Maybe next time you'll venture to SW Ohio. (hope hope) :)

Sweet, a town named after a pub. That's brilliant indeed. I hope that you got to said pub and enjoyed a beverage in homage. Great to see you posting about gigs and shows coming soon to a TV in my living room....

The only thing worse than sitting on a plane is waiting to sit on a plane in a different place.

i didnt realize that actors traveled so much. everytime i check your blog, you are traveling to, coming back from or visiting some other place. where do u live? and do the people who love you ever travel with you?
i like the photos you post. you have a good eye. i like to enlarge them and look at the detail. and they are so often places i have never been.

its also nice to know that life after sga is bringing you work. you deserve it,

King of Prussia is a nice place - I had friends who lived near there. They took me to the mammoth mall one time. We walked around a bit and ate at Chick-Fil-A since I don't have any of those around me in NY. But that's about all I remember of it.

Glad to hear a little about your time at Gamex. I just couldn't fit it into my schedule. :( I keep hoping I'll be able to get to a convention that you're at!

P.S. I think they always put you in glasses because that fits the role best. Otherwise, you'd probably be too attractive for the part.
