What a swingin' convention

Wasn't that fun...
.
Big thank you for all of you who came out to Markham, Ontario last weekend - and Polaris 23. You forded rivers, flew from Ireland, drove via Montreal - endured all sorts of hardships to get there... so kudos to you. Once you knew where it was it was easy to find. Am I right? It was great to see Dave and Kate again, and a lot of fun chatting with them for what seemed an eternity up there...
.
Sad news from the Australian newsdesk here at Zelenka Industries - the July convention there has been postponed till November. I think we're just waiting for the Australian continent to drift .004 metres closer to North America in the interim so that it's not so far to go. Or something like that.
.
I'm off for some work, be back shortly...

We attended Sunday only and truly did enjoy seeing you with that other guy and Kate Hewlett :)
Did you have you audition yet?

I'm glad you enjoyed the convention! Everyone I talk to who went, says it was fun. I wish I could have been there... some day I'll get to one of these events.

I like the moustache! :)

Glad you had a great time at the convention :)

I'm really disappointed about the Australian convention being moved to November because now I probably can't go :( It's going to be a lot of fun for all those that can make it there. I hear that BOBW conventions are the BEST!

Does the new 'stache come with a tragic Spanish accent? It's...certainly different. Good luck with the audition there. :)

Four extra months to try and save up, I hope I can make it this time.

I'm very sad I wasn't able to come to the con! Hope you can go to Dragon*Con 2010?? **hopeful grin**

Anyway, glad it was a blast! Anymore Where In The World pics any time soon??

Cheers!

David, it was really fun meeting you again!
It was really nice that you gave up your stage time on Sunday to give all the fans the Nykl and Hewlett show! That was priceless and so much fun to watch!

I personally like the moustache and was really surprised that the majority of the audience didn't!

Thanks for a really fun convention!

P.S. Does the e-mail on your website work? Based on one of the questions and comments made Sunday and knowing alot of fans have sent e-mails.......

Glad you had fun, looks like a blast!

Looks like I am just going to need to renew my passport to attend one!

I'm glad everyone had a blast. Thanks for the photos. And since the only way for me to attend one of these things is via the internet, I hope some video makes it to YouTube soon.

As for the moustache, it's kind of hard to tell from the pic. Have you ever thought of handle bars? ;-)

D Hewlett seemed to have quite the gift bag there. He also seemed more interested in the present than his fans. Did you get a present and a large coffee like he did?

Well well, that mustache..., it is..., it´s... unexpected.
But please tell me, that Zelenka will NOT have it in the SGA Movie!!! :D

Aaaah, both Davids in one place, that´s too much! Why are you so far... far away? I truly envy all that people at the convention! But that Day will come - and you ´ll appear in (Czech Re)public again, won't you? ;o)

Okay, so I went to this convention and bought this really nice art piece of someone sitting on a rocket.
Decided to get it framed instead of keeping it with my autographs; it's art - it's meant to be shown....OMG, the frame costs almost as much as the art piece. It will look really nice when it is done, though now I have to figure out where I am going to hang it!

Ahhhhh well, I pick it up on my birthday so it's a nice gift to myself!

That last pic there.. YOU LOOK LIKE MY DAD! Before I get asked, I'm only like 4 years younger..

Sam, your Dad must be a nice looking man then. :)

David - are you still out there? I really think that it is time for you to update your blog and cheer us up.

Did you ever get the parcel that you sent me returned to you? I was looking forward to displaying my piece of glass from the explosion in "First Contact"?

Must go as my little tom cat Frankie is demanding (noisily demanding) a second, or is it a third, breakfast.

Susan

Hey Susan the Tartan Turtle, just because David is busy and not posting much doesn't mean we can't post (grins).

What's the story behind the glass? Sounds like a fun one!

Hi David. I hope you find the time to post again soon as I always look forward to seeing your blog's indicator light up on my toolbar. I miss my Letters fix, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this. No pressure, just post when you can. Thanks.
