Have a Peaceful, Healthy, and Inspiring Christmas

I'll be away from the electronic fireplace for a while, so I wish you all a great Christmas Season -- may it be full of the people you would want it to be; be good to each other out there, and I hope to resume transmissions in the New Year.

Vše nejlepší, Vám ve vlasti, hezkého ježíška - děkuju moc za spousta emajlu a dopisu plných hezkých slov. Brzy snad na videnou !

  11. Okay, I'm much better at Russian but I'll try this:

Veselý Vánoce! JÁ naděje Santa nést tebe celek člen určitý majetek tebe potřeba.

Merry Christmas! I hope Santa brings you everything you want.

    Btw, what's this about videocamaras?

  22. Hey, guys, check this out! I googled and apparently folks in the Czech Republic like to fry up a big ol' carp for Christmas Eve supper. So, looks like David's getting ready to celebrate the holidays the traditional way! I wonder if it will live in his bathtub until time to cook it, like the article said? XD That would be funny!

Ok, the photo of the fish makes a LOT more sense now. :D :D :D You learn something every day...

  25. That's a beautiful fish. The fan-like golden scales make it look very Asian to me.

  33. Ah, the Christmas Carp! That thing's freekin' huge. In Polish tradition as well, we have a meatless Christmas Eve, often involving carp. Me, I'm not a bit lover of the carp. But the potato salad? Lovely!

In closing, in the languages of my ancestors:

    Joyeux Noël
    Wesołych Świąt
    Happy Christmas

    Veselé Vánoce, Davide.

    Štěstí, zdraví, pokoj svatý.
